Mikron particularly aims to attract audiences who may not regard themselves as 'theatregoers' in the conventional sense, or those who may find it difficult to access theatre centres, whether for geographical, cultural or economic reasons.
The style of the Company's work, with its mixture of humour, music, physical theatre and strong narrative, using minimal sets and props, is designed to be entertaining and accessible, while the subject matter is thought-provoking and relevant to people's lives. 25th Autumn Tour 2007
Mikron’s Autumn Tour takes us by road to pubs, restaurants, community centres, village halls and art centres. We aim to attract people who are not regular theatre-goers or who live some distance from theatre centres. We are the little theatre company with a reputation for tackling large-scale subjects and turning history into vivid and dramatic entertainment. This year we will be visiting venues in Wiltshire, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Mersyside.
